What are fillers?

Fillers are gel-like substances that restore fullness to the face. As you age, your collagen levels start to deplete. Collagen is a protein that helps build your connective tissues. It keeps your skin firm and resilient in your youth. 

Without high levels of collagen, your skin loses its youthful volume. The dermal structure that supports this volume also starts to lose its hold. As a result, tissue begins to collect lower in the face, creating excess or saggy skin.

Do fillers treat all types of wrinkles?

How long do fillers last?

Most dermal fillers last for at least 6 to 12 months before gradually fading. To maintain your results, you can return to Belfon Health and Aesthetics for touch-up treatments. You can also extend your results by combining your treatment with other procedures, such as microneedling, facials, chemical peels, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy.
